AI video production

Not video made by AI alone: the director leads planning and direction, and AI is added at the stages where it helps. We build on our 2D, 3D and live-action experience to keep the result consistent.

What we make

A good fit forBrands looking for a new look, projects on a tight schedule and teams adopting AI production

From script and shot planning to compositing—director-led Full AI and AI hybrid production

Brands and agencies considering AI video usually have three practical concerns: 'Will it look noticeably AI-generated or have characters whose faces and outfits shift every cut?' 'If we ask for a specific revision, will the whole shot change randomly because it cannot be edited?' and 'Are commercial rights and confidentiality safe?'

Stringing together raw clips from text prompts without pre-production breaks shot continuity and cannot handle commercial revisions. Building on our 2D, 3D, and live-action direction and compositing pipeline since 2016, Airship Studio delivers both end-to-end Full AI video production and AI hybrid production (combining 2D, 3D, or live action with AI) tailored to your goal and budget.

Concept-art-grade AI storyboarding and human post-production pipeline

Our AI video work is not one-off prompting. It runs on careful pre-production planning and a real post-production process.

From Full AI to hybrid and non-AI workflows tailored to your budget and security needs

We look at the overall plan, budget, schedule and security requirements first, then propose whichever of full AI or AI hybrid production gives the best result for the cost.

Commercial license verification and academic research background

We use only AI tools cleared for commercial use and verify license terms ourselves before delivery. Director Minsuk Kang teaches AI-assisted animation production and post-production at Chungkang College of Cultural Industries and Shingu College, and researches generative-AI hybrid animation pipelines in the master's program in Moving Image Design at Hongik University. Our style-preservation tests, motion prompts, and production notes are shared openly in the Prompt Library and Blog.

Process

  1. ConsultationWe agree on purpose, channels, schedule and budget, and propose an approach
  2. Planning, storyboard & conceptA plan, storyboard and reel show how the film will look
  3. ProductionScenes are built with animation, 3D, live action or AI hybrid, with a work-in-progress cut to review
  4. DeliveryAfter final changes, the finished film and contracted files in each channel spec

FAQ

How is AI hybrid video different from conventional production?

Conventional video relies only on existing methods such as shooting, hand-drawn animation, 3D and VFX, and some scenes can push schedule and cost up sharply. AI hybrid keeps those methods as the base and adds AI only at stages where quality can be controlled. Planning, direction, character design and final compositing stay with people. AI is used to explore concept art quickly, and for time-consuming work like hard-to-shoot backgrounds, live-action scenes and VFX compositing. That widens what you can show within the same budget and schedule, and lets 2D animation, 3D and live action sit together in one film.

Does AI make it cheaper or faster?

It depends on the project. Replacing a shoot, standing in for VFX or quickly exploring concept art can cut time and cost significantly. But today’s AI is clearly better at some tasks than others. So we look at the whole plan first, use AI only at the stages where it works well, and quote on that basis. The price follows the pipeline we design.

Can AI-made video be used commercially?

Yes. We only use AI tools that allow commercial use, and we check and review licensing ourselves before delivery.

Which AI tools do you use?

We pick from a range of tools to suit the job, including Codex, Claude, Seedance, Higgsfield, ComfyUI and Suno.

Can you create live-action scenes with AI, without a shoot?

Yes, we can create live-action scenes with AI without a shoot. Some scenes still work better shot for real, so we decide between shooting and AI together at the planning stage.

What kind of film do you need?

Tell us your goal, schedule and budget, and we will reply with an approach and quote within 2–3 business days.
